Bachelor of Vocation Courses at Banaras Hindu University
Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is a Central University located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The University offers courses from various fields that candidates can pursue according to their interests.

BHU takes Entrance Tests to take admission in various B.Voc Technical or Professional courses. All the candidates will have to fulfill the eligibility criteria for admission before applying for the vocational courses entrance examination.
The concerned department has defined the basic academic eligibility of every course, in case the candidate is not able to fulfill the required criteria, her/his candidature will be canceled.

Candidates also have an exit option with duration and Award of Degree in the Aforesaid Bachelor of Vocational programs.

BHU B.Voc Courses: Application Form & Application Fee
The candidates are required to fill up the B. Voc. UET Application Form ONLINE and the Application Form will not be sold offline by the University.
Generally, the university releases Bachelor of Vocation courses online application forms in February & March.
After that, you can fill out the application form online and can pay the application fee through online mode (Debit Card, Credit Card, & Net Banking).
Application fees:
General and OBC – Rs.600/-
SC/ST/PWD – Rs.300/-
Candidates also have another option to pay the application fee through “Challan” in any branch of HDFC Bank (the facility will be available only during banking hours on any banking day): After filling up the application form, its submission and selecting this mode for payment, the candidate can print the Challan from the entrance test portal.
The printout of the challan will contain all necessary details of the candidate, bank account details of the Banaras Hindu University in which the entrance test fee will be deposited and the exact amount to be deposited.
The candidate will be required to visit any branch of the HDFC Bank of his/her choice (only during banking hours on any banking day) where he/she will be required to deposit the requisite Fee amount to the Bank.
BHU B.Voc Courses: Admit Card, Entrance Exam, & Result
B. Voc. Entrance Examinations are conducted both in the pen-paper (OMR-based) and Computer Based Test (CBT) modes. Test inOMR-based modes are conducted on the same date and simultaneously with the same question paper.
While the Pen – Paper Mode test will be conducted in 45 cities across the country, the CBT would be conducted in 115 cities.
While filling up the online application form(s) the applicants shall have to opt for either the Pen-Paper Mode or the CBT mode. The option once exercised shall be final; no change under any circumstances shall be permitted.
B. Voc. Entrance Examination Online Admit card is available one or two weeks after the entrance test and the Online Result is available after one month after the entrance test.
A total of 150 questions will be asked in the entrance test & each question contains 3 marks so the entrance exam will be a total of 450 marks.
The minimum qualifying marks for the B. Voc. Undergraduate Entrance Test has been fixed as 35% for the General category and (OBC) Other Backward Classes and the 5% for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (SC & ST) candidates for admission to various Undergraduate B. Voc. courses in the University.
BHU B.Voc. Courses: Counselling Process, Fee Payment, and Admission
The counseling will be conducted by the concerned departments of the University. The final seat allotment to the Vocational courses offered by BHU will be held through counseling.
All the Selected Candidates are provided a Call Latter for counseling. Call Later contains all the details and instructions required at the time of counseling.
Only those candidates can appear in the counseling who get the Counselling call letter. Candidates who have appeared in the entrance test can check the Call Letter in the Counselling portal online.
Within 10 days after the counseling process, you will get a message with your phone number and Email ID for the fee payment. You will have to pay the admission fee within 24 hours of getting the message.
Candidates can pay admission fees through online mode or Challan. If you will not pay the fee within the given time then your Admission will be canceled.
Note: In some cases, it can take up to 30 days to get the message for the Admission & fee Payment.
Within two days after Fee payment, you will get an “Admission Admit Card” You will have to Report at the Address, Date & Time given on the Admission Admit Card along with the required Documents.
