Mode of BHU Entrance Exam 2021 – BHU Entrance Exam 2021 for UET and PET Courses will be conducted in online mode through Computer Based Test (CBT) only.

BHU Food Processing & Management Course Duration

B.Voc in FPM is a degree course of 3 years duration. This 3 years duration is divided into 6 semesters, after the end of each semester, you will have to appear in the semester examination to go in the next semester.  Also, a minimum of 75% attendance is required to appear in the semester examination.

Candidates also have an exit option with duration and Award of Degree in the Bachelor mentioned above of Vocational programs.

Course Location: The BHU conducts the “B.Voc Food Processing & Management Course” in its second campus at Banaras Hindu University South Campus, Mirzapur Uttar Pradesh.

(DDU Kaushal Kendra, Banaras Hindu University South Campus, Barkachha, Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, 231001). This BHU campus is located 70 kilometers from the main BHU campus on 2700 acres of land.

This course comes under the “Special Course of Study” (self-financed) in the courses of Banaras Hindu University so candidates will have to pay the Special course fee (Rs.26,000) with University fees (Rs.1981) and also Rs.5000/- one-time assessment fee.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements for BHU Food Processing & Management

A candidate shall be eligible for admission to Food Processing & Management if he/she has passed 10+2 or equivalent, in the Science stream or level 4 NSQF certificate or any other equivalent examination recognized by the University securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Hostel Facility for this Course

Hostel for Bachelor of Vocation courses at Banaras Hindu University South Campus: Candidates who got Admission to RGSC BHU, are provided hostel facilities. All candidates of the B.Voc Food Processing & Management course & other vocational courses students will be provided with the Hostel facility.

Hostel Fees: Candidates will have to pay the hostel fees of Rs.4100*/- per Year (Rs.2000/- is refundable)

Mess Charges: Apart from Hostel fees, you will also have to pay Mess fees of Rs.2900*/- per month (Mess fee calculated each day, charged only if you are present in the hostel)

The candidates are required to fill up the Food Processing & Management UET Application Form ONLINE and the Application Form will not be sold offline by the University.

Generally, the university releases the Bachelor of Vocation courses online application form in the month of February & March.

Candidates can pay the Application fee through online mode (Debit Card, Credit Card, & Net Banking). OR through “Challan” in any branch of HDFC Bank.

Entrance Exam Syllabus: BHU Food Processing & Management:

In the Entrance Test of BHU B.Voc Food Processing & Management, A total of 180 questions will be asked, out of 180 questions you have to solve only 150 questions in 2 hours & each question contain 3 marks so the entrance exam will be a total of 450 marks.

The Question paper will be divided into two categories: The first category contains 120 questions and the second contains 60 questions.

The first category (120 questions) contains questions from General Science, General knowledge, Current affairs, Reasoning, and General Mathematics. But in the first category, most of the questions will be asked from Biology from General Science.

The second category contains 60 questions: 30 questions from Hindi grammar & 30 questions from English grammar.  But You will have to solve only 30 questions, you can solve 30 questions either from Hindi Grammar or 30 questions from English Grammar.
