This is very important that your site MUST be able to redirect from non-www (https://example.com) to www (https://www.example.com) or Vice versa.
Even if you don’t use www as a prefix with your domain still it should be able to redirect the www prefix to non-www or vice versa.
In this post, you will learn how you can fix the Site Down or Unavailable problem for AdSense and also how you can redirect your site from non-www to www. Please read every point carefully.
Redirect from non-www to www – Blogger Blog
To solve the issue, you have to make the following changes in your Blogger settings and DNS Management Settings
- Go to your Blogger Dashboard > Click on Settings > Scroll down to the “Publishing” section > in the Publishing section> turn on “Redirect domain“.
- If your blog is still not redirecting from non-www (https://example.com) to www (https://www.example.com) then go through the following steps:
Note: If you have set up Domain Forwarding in your DNS Management Settings to redirect from non-www to www or vice versa then you should remove it, this is not the right way to redirect www.
- Now check the DNS Records and look, if there is a type ‘A’ record, Name (@), and value (Parked). As shown below in the picture.
If you find the above DNS record then Click on the Edit icon and delete this record.
- Now check if you have added these 4 type ‘A’ Records in the DNS records as shown in the picture below. (for blogger.com blog).
If you have not added the above shown type ‘A’ records then you should add them in order to properly redirect your website from non-www to www or vice versa.

Now check that if you have added the following two type ‘CNAME‘ records in your ‘DNS records’, Most probably you would have added these two CNAME records because that is what makes the custom domain work in the Blogger blog.
After 10 – 20 minutes of setting up all these things. You will see that your site is now started redirecting from non-www (https://example.com) to www (https://www.example.com) or vice versa. That means, now your site is ready to re-apply for AdSense.
But I will recommend that you should post 1 or 2 more articles, then after 1 or 2 days, you should apply again for AdSense.
